Pizza with a Purpose: Benefit for the Donahue Family

Turner shows up for its own. Join us on May 2nd as we open our hearts and our backyard stage for a local family in need. We lost a dad in our community suddenly, and we’re coming together to help his three young kids find their footing.

Enjoy live music from Hylo Rodeo, who has a personal connection to the family. A portion of proceeds from every 14" pizza sold all day goes directly to the Donahue family.

In August 2024, Turner lost Aaron Donahue suddenly to a stroke at a young age. He was a devoted husband, father and friend who spent his life serving others. Whether he was coaching baseball, helping a neighbor with a project or lending a hand to a complete stranger, Aaron showed up for people. He left behind his wife and three young kids, 11-year-old twins and an 8-year-old, who are managing daily life and their family farm without him.

The community is coming together to raise $43,000 in honor of Aaron's 43rd birthday to help his family secure a reliable, larger vehicle. Turner Pizza is proud to be part of driving Aaron's family forward.

Wes Youssi is a singer and songwriter from Portland, Oregon. Inspired to sing country artists his grandma loved in the 1960’s, Wes formed The County Champs in 2014. He spent the next 10 years combing the loneliest roads and towns throughout the Northwest and beyond, playing for hard-working people like the ones he grew up around in Belvidere, Illinois. Along the way, he won them over with his original songs while gaining recognition from DJ’s, writers, and fellow musicians for his authentic vocal and golden age sound.

Many miles and whiskeys later, Wes and The County Champs have evolved to encompass a broader spectrum of music influenced by the barren roads they’ve traveled. Drawing inspiration from the border rock bands that first emerged in the 1950’s, their newest songs celebrate the highest deserts and “Live Free or Not At All” kind of people. It’s a sonic space they affectionately call “high-octane twang,” blending western music with rock, surf, and latin tones. This space-country concoction is garnished with neon lights and a dash of tragic romance. Get in your Cadillac and don’t stop driving ‘til sunrise!

Copper Ridge is an Outlaw Country band from the Pacific Northwest. Forging a group of highly talented and experienced musicians and singers, Copper Ridge has quickly made a name for themselves while proving that the roots of original country music are here to stay.

From toe tapping, two stepping cover songs from Emmylou Harris, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Waylon Jennings,  Miranda Lambert, Steve Earl and more, to their 2018 released CD of originals, their music is based on the style and rhythm that first made Country music so popular across the country. 

We are an Outlaw Country band with roots from local country families. We love our country roots.

A country band based out of Western Oregon.

Sean Paul, known by his stage name The Feel Button, is an authentic solo musician who plays a variety of tunes by artists such as Paul Simon, Johnny Cash, John Lennon, Ryan Adams, and Chris Stapleton. He has the ability to rock roadside bars and also connect with audiences in more intimate settings.

His influences include Dave Matthews, Anders Osborne, and Charles Bukowski. He knows that being a musician is not an easy way to make a living, but it is a beautiful way to live. Born and raised in Oregon, Sean enjoys playing his music across the state. You can often find him performing at local wineries, breweries, and restaurants.

Drey is a local musician with a lifelong passion for singing and over half their life dedicated to playing the guitar. Influenced by a diverse range of artists such as Justin Timberlake, Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, Journey, Elvis, Chris Stapleton, and Morgan Wallen, Drey brings a unique blend of sounds to the stage. His mission is simple: to give audiences a good time, share their music, and make a lasting name for himself in the industry as he pursues a full-time career.

Andrew tackles jazz pop, rock, soul and whatever comes his way. He takes great pride in playing what the audience craves, whether he knows it or not.

Lisa James is a singer-songwriter whose original music combines elements of folk, country and Americana with an unguarded twist. You can find Lisa in the Pacific Northwest singing love songs and covering various styles and genres of popular music.

Join singer-songwriter, and winner of Best of Eugene’s Best Solo performer, Jesse Meade, for a laid-back, feel-good evening of acoustic folk, country, and more from Turner Pizza’s indoor stage!

Dylan Santiago is a baritone-ukulele playing, singer/songwriter from the Salem, OR area. His sound can be described as cross between Jack Johnson/Jason Mraz/Ed Sheeran. As a classically-trained tenor, he likes to add powerful vocals to memorable melodies accompanied by the acoustic, harp-like sound of the baritone ukulele.

He started writing songs and performing in various places through years of travel across Europe and Asia. In August 2020, he recorded, produced, and released his first EP, “The KL EP” in his bedroom in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia during the strict lockdowns of COVID-19. Since 2021, he’s become a full-time musician — publishing more than 60 original songs, playing over 250 shows, and amounting over 500 hours on stage.
