Rich Swanger, based in Oregon, is a songwriter with roots in folk, gospel, and country-blues music. He started his solo project, Seahorse, in the late 2000s, which evolved to include inspiring musicians. In 2018, he released a self-titled album with 'Rich Swanger & The Little Known Band.' His music has been featured on the TV show "Shameless," and his song “Didn’t Make a Sound” won Portland’s Folk Festival songwriting contest. Swanger has recorded 4 full-length albums and regularly performs with his group, The Little Known Band, in the Pacific Northwest.
